The Hour of Code is coming.
Mission Grove is taking part in the Hour of Code with Discovery Education Coding. From 7th–13th December the Hour of Code initiative organised by Code.org hopes to encourage pupils across the globe to dedicate one hour to learning how to code. During the Hour of Code week not only will the children be learning about Coding but we’re encouraging pupils to test their coding skills by teaching an adult an hour of code.
Next week your child will be given a special resource pack so you and your child can explore dinosaurs, space, under the sea or fairy tales to create your app together at home.
We are also offering an exciting ‘Hour of Code’ coffee morning session on Thursday 10th December in which we want as many parents as possible to attend and receive a special coding master class from the Year 6’s.
Visit: www.discoveryeducation.co.uk/hourofcode to find out more.
Don’t be left behind; become part of your child’s future and let them teach you how to code.
