From 25th May 2018 new regulations around how personal data is processed and kept safe come into effect. On our website you will see updated Privacy Notices which explains what data we collect, hold and share.
When we collect pupil data we will have to inform you whether you are required to provide certain pupil information to us or if you have a choice in this.
Pupil data is stored for varying lengths of time dependent upon what the information is.
Pupil data is shared with the school that your child will attend after leaving us, the local authority, and other professional bodies involved in your child’s education. Pupil data will not be shared with anyone without consent unless the law and policies allow us to do so, with the exception of the Department of Education (DfE) as this is a statutory requirement.
Under these new regulations, you have the right to request access to information that we hold on your child(ren).
