What will we be learning this half-term?
In English our work will be based around the book Varjak Paw. This book is about a Mesopotamiam Blue kitten who lives up in an old house on a hill. He's never left home, but then his grandfather tells him about the Way - a secret martial art for cats.
In Maths we will be focusing on our basic place value skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Our Topic in Science this half-term is Forces. We will be planning and conducting investigations looking at how different forces work.
How did the Ancient Sumerians impact the world? This is the question we will be delving deep into this half-term. We will be finding out what technologies, agriculture and trade links were developed by this ancient civilisation and how this period in history compares to the modern world.
In P.E we will be doing gymnastics and athletics. Please remember to wear your P.E kits every Thursday.
