Highlights of the week..... 

 This week we have been busy creating and writing about our mythical creatures in Literacy. 

In maths, we continued learning about fractions.

For science, we have started to learn about the 6 stages of the human lifecycle.

Do you know what they are?

We did alot of plotting on our maps for Topic, and looked at how slaves were used during the Ancient Greek times.

Our Topics this term

We will be travelling back in time, finding out more about Ancient Greece, how long their civilisation lasted, what they traded and believed in and many more things!

Our Literacy class book will be based on Odysseus... who endures harrowing ordeals and adventures while trying to find his way back home,  across unfamiliar seas to reach his beloved homeland and darling wife Penelope. 

Our Science topic will be about Animals including Humans, where we will be learning about human development, gestation periods of different animals and puberty. 

Our Maths will be focusing on fractions, decimals and percentages, shape, measure (length, mass, volume and capacity) four operations and statistics.

Remember our PE day for this term is Thursday! Make sure you're ready in your PE kits! We will be focusing on improving our skills in Gymnastics!
