Our Cat - Dennis Carter

Most days I love our warm and wafty,
our smooth and softy cat very much.
She lets me give her a cuddle.
She comes to me for a snuggle.

Some days I don’t like our sly and sneaky,
our mean and cheeky cat very much.
She’s just a little pest today.
She licked my dinner yesterday.

Most days I love our sleek and slinky,
our dainty dinky cat very much.
She’s cute even when she’s creeping.
She purrs even when she’s sleeping.

Monkey Babies - Irene Rawnsley and John Foster

Don't leave your monkey baby sitting by
the swamp; a crocodile might eat him,

Chomp! Chomp! Chomp!

Don't leave your monkey baby sitting
under trees; a snake might wrap him up

Squeeze! Squeeze! Squeeze!

Don't leave your monkey baby sitting by
the track; a lion might be lurking

Snack! Snack! Snack!

Keep your monkey baby high up in the
trees. Feed him on bananas,

Help pick off his fleas!
