Read For Good
The literacy council are organising a sponsored readathon with ‘Read for good’. There is a 3 point plan
1 - encourage children to read and read for pleasure and enjoyment
2- do a good deed and help raise funds to buy books and hire story tellers for children in hospital
3- raise funds to help refresh the books in our school library buses.
This is primarily for children in years 1 to 6, but the reception children are welcome to join in.
It will be happening over the Easter break.
You can choose to read for a number of minutes a day, a number of books by your favourite author, or just your favourite book. Get friends and family to sponsor you to encourage you to read more!
