Science Resources at Mission Grove

Mission Grove is lucky enough to have a farm on both sites. The children care for rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and chickens as part of our curriculum.

There is also a Wildlife Area on both sites. During weekly Nature Studies lessons, children have the opportunity to learn about plants and animals, how we can care for our environment and plant a variety of plants, fruits and vegetables.

On the North Site, there is also a pond, Biodome and bird hut which all Mission Grove children can use.

Cookery facilities are available on both sites and are used throughout the year with a focus on healthy eating.

Children use Lego We Do to learn about scientific concepts like pulleys.
